This pen and watercolor print is 11" x 8.5".
Hanover Tavern is packed with history - it was adapted as the FIRST dinner theatre in America and was the first performing arts organization in Virginia to open its doors to integrated audiences. It is listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places. This theatre was even visited by Edgar Allen Poe. In 2012, it merged with the Theatre IV to become the Virginia Repertory Theatre.
This would make a fantastic gift for a history buff, especially one who is from Virginia or enthusiastic about VA history. The colors of this piece are bright and bold. The image reads 'Hanover Tavern' on the top line and 'Hanover, VA' on the second line.
