How it all started

Mad Kitchen Co. began as my food & travel blog while I was living abroad. To pair with the subjects I wrote about, I opened an Etsy shop where I could sell my food and travel-themed drawings. In 2020, things changed.

Fast forward a couple of years later - to when the pandemic began to affect my hometown, Richmond, VA. I was inspired to create the Richmond Classics series, which celebrates my community's favorite restaurants and small businesses. As my collection grew, it became more and more exciting to capture the personalities of each neighborhood.

Mad Kitchen Co. became my full-time job in 2020. My collections now feature many cities beyond Richmond.

In 2021, I packed up my life, my dog and my business. I moved to San Diego, CA, where Mad Kitchen Co. is now based. I'm currently growing Mad Kitchen Co., working on new cities and even new types of globally-inspired products from clothing to home goods.

While I continue to illustrate my favorite cities, I also love freelancing for musicians, small businesses and non-profits. My goal is to inspire others to explore the world through food, art and travel.
